PACT is a statewide coalition that educates Pennsylvania legislators and the public about critical to***co control issues.

Founded in 2001 by the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and American Lung Association, PACT advocates for to***co control and helps Pennsylvanians learn about to***co control issues. Today, as a contractor of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, PACT works with local coalitions and national health organizations to educate the public and elected officials about clean indoor air, to***co taxes, and other critical to***co control issues.

Bright packaging and sweet flavors are designed to make va**ng seem fun, social, and low risk. But the health effects are real.

This summer, help spread facts, not myths.

"School’s out soon, but to***co and va**ng risks do not take a summer break.

With more free time, social events, and online influence, young people can face increased exposure to va**ng and to***co products during the summer months.

Summer heat and poor air quality can make it harder to breathe, especially for kids, older adults, and people living with asthma or COPD.

To***co smoke and v**e aerosol add even more stress to the lungs and airways.

Cleaner air means healthier summers for everyone. Supporting smoke free spaces helps protect the people most vulnerable to respiratory illness. 💙

"☀️ Summer is almost here and so are more outdoor events, playground visits, and community gatherings.

Everyone deserves clean air, whether indoors or outside. Secondhand smoke and aerosol from va**ng can still affect kids, older adults, and people with asthma, even in open spaces.

Creating smoke free outdoor environments helps families breathe easier all summer long. 🌿💨

The conversations started today matter most when they are sustained. Advocates can continue this work by following legislation, engaging with elected officials, and sharing community perspectives year-round.
