Ten years in my hometown and five more awesome years in Alice that got it all started.

You know, this Covid-crazed school year was really one of the best. I got adopted by a GREAT new team (I hope they realize that even though I’m on a different hallway this year, I’m still all about 😉), AND I’m getting another new great team next year, complete with getting to teach some of my littles from last year again as a KINDERGARTEN teacher!!!

Excited isn’t appropriate enough, but teacher brain is on vacay for a few weeks while I visit and celebrate some family this weekend, celebrate birthday #7 with my youngest, get a new “robot” knee (that’s what the kinders call it 😂) on Tuesday, and recover so I can start fresh again in my new space real soon. 🥰

Getting in the car (for any reason these days) requires a photo shoot for this guy...especially when there are sunglasses involved. 😎
This trip was to pick up our school supplies and sweet notes from the teachers we haven’t seen in person since March. 😢
