Casa McKibben

Sweet and Billy Bob are leftovers from the Gifford hoarding case we tackled in 2019. They’ve been living at Casa McKibben since then and are getting older now. They are both at least 10 years old! They love to be outside, but don’t wander off. They are super socialized and get along with everybody.

I’d love to find homes for them so they can live out their years and get lots of attention and loving. If you know of anyone that would like to have very easy going dogs to hang out with, please get in touch with me. They are likely related, but we don’t know for sure.

Up to date on shots — fixed — don’t need any vet visits until May of next year. Also — good with cats, goats, chickens, rabbits and all wildlife!!

The LGD is protecting the babies when a border collie shows up. After a quick correction, the border collie leaves and the baby goats are safe. Love how this LGD protects the newest members of his herd!! They are pretty amazing dogs.

On this day last year our power was out for two days and I didn’t realize our doe had kidded. Pete got ahead of me like he normally does and Judge corrected him for getting to close to shaky newborns. We had a night of 70 mph winds and the babies were shaky. We won’t make this mistake again! If the power goes out and a doe is close to kidding and the power is out (and our security cams linked w wifi) I’ll go check alone. That said Judge’s correction was appropriate and measured and so wise for his age at the time. I wonder … just how did they know I stopped at Hecho En Texas BBQ in Cameron on my way back from town? I think they could smell my take-out order before I even opened the car door. 😂
