Mrs. Akin's 3rd and 4th Grade Math/Science

Tomorrow is the Math STAAR Test! Hopefully they are getting ready for bed so they can get a good night sleep tonight and wake up well rested. Try and eat a good breakfast before coming to school. They can also get breakfast here too. Lunch will most likely be a little later, around noon. Give them a hug and tell them They Got This and to do their best, but Do Not Stress. I Believe in Them!! 🏹😊😍😊🏹

The six weeks ends on Thursday! Classes will resume on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 to start the final six-weeks of the school year.

Easter is quickly approaching! And we plan to help get you and your family in the swing of things with our first annual Easter Egg Hunt! Come join us March 28th from 11am-2pm at the Milam County Courthouse. We’ll have games and raffles. Plus there will be sausage wrap plates for sale. Come celebrate with us!

This past weekend I enjoyed watching my 3rd graders play basketball. They will be fun to watch in junior high and high school. ♥️🏀♥️

Yesterday my kids enjoyed writing kind words to each other before they passed out their valentines to each other. ♥️ ♥️♥️

Saturday morning I enjoyed watching my 3rd graders play basketball. I had to leave (so i could go watch Logan at the Alumni baseball game) when the 3rd set of kids were warming up, but got a few pictures of them before I left. These kids can play 🏀! I’m so glad they got this organization together to allow the kids to start learning the fundamentals of basketball. ♥️🏀
