🏈 STATE CHAMPS! Camden Panthers Take the Crown! 🎉

Camden High School’s football team just made history — the Panthers are the 2025 NJSIAA Group 2 State Champions!

With a strong 27–8 win over Shabazz in New Brunswick, the team showed grit, power, and Panther pride from start to finish. This victory marks Camden’s first-ever state football championship — a huge moment for the school and the whole city.

From big plays to tough defense, the Panthers proved they belong at the top. 💜🖤

This win is for Camden.
Congratulations to the players, coaches, families, and fans who believed all season long!

Thanksgiving in Camden always hits different. The cold settled over Lewis Katz Field, but the energy stayed warm as Camden High dominated the 94th Turkey Game rivalry with a 41–0 shutout over Eastside. The Panthers move to 11–2 and continue their run toward a state championship.

Halftime brought a deeper kind of pride as the community honored two pillars: Stanley G. “Bunkie” White Jr., receiving the 2025 Camden Community Appreciation Award, and former teacher and cheer coach Vivian McBride, honored for her distinguished service.

Football gave us the excitement, but the people who pour into Camden gave the day its meaning. This is how a city celebrates its past, present, and future all at once.
