The Pop Up Library needs donations!
We need 3,000 paperback books. The Burlington County Jail had a flood and lost all their books. They will take any type of paperback books we can give them. They would like 5,000. We have 2,000 already. We are teaming with The Soul Café. They are taking the lead on this.
Please contact Pastor Cherese at [email protected] or Cherese Evans with any questions.

Reading is so important for people that are in jail or prison. A lot of people develop a love of reading during this time.
Thank you for making a difference in their lives.

Another insightful BLDP session today; leadership advice from Greg Faulkner, Senior Pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Cherry Hill, NJ. He answers how corporate and non-profit leadership can be similar in soft skills needed. He says his best skill is the ability to connect with people. https://bit.ly/2Vlqv4q

Philadelphia entrepreneur - Fork and High Street Hospitality co-founder Ellen Yin has been a trailblazer in the Philly restaurant scene since the 1990s. She says she believes in community; "nothing replaces relationships with people." When she's meeting with new staff she tells them about her vision so staff become part of that vision. Thank you for sharing your vision and experience with our Rutgers-Camden School of Business BLDP students.
