Hear Sweet Petunia tell the story of their journey as a band from playing campfire. festival to a sold out show at Passim! Maddy Simpson and Mairead Guy's experiences are an incredible example of Passim's dedication to artist development - trusting in the voices of new artists and helping them grow.
"My band’s arc is one you can see reflected time and time again at Passim - you can start out by attending a School of Music class or performing at an open mic, get invited to play a summer series show or a Campfire. Fest, and from there you can find yourself co-billing or even selling out your own show. Passim’s dedication to artist development has been demonstrated to me personally as both an artist and an employee." - Maddy Simpson, Admin & Community Events Coordinator

Tonight at 8pm is the Monday Discovery Series at Passim sponsored by Nine Athens Music! There has been a change in lineup - sadly due to illness we will not be able to hear the Lion Sisters tonight, but we are delighted to have Felicity Paige, one of last year's Iguana Fund recipients, join us! Felicity is an indie-rock artist crafting music that is unapologetically strange, politically aware, witty and sharp. She will be joining Lucy London, who draws technique from opera training, yodeling, throat singing and beatboxing to give her performances a unique and absurd edge. Members attend for free! Tickets and info at passim.org/live
