by recycling and reutilizing a variety of Kenneth Cole vintage billboards to be sold at Mr. Cole’s new concept store in New York City.
-Selected to exhibit a wearable piece from recycled rubber for the traveling show “Toss and Found” organized by Taylor Stevenson, to inspire creativity by using free/recyclable materials. The show traveled for two years through the USA, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Beirut, Lebanon.
-Participated in the annual fundraising and fashion show organized by the
“RE-Store” for three consecutive years.
-Presented a Trash-Fashions Show as a marketing strategy for the grand opening of Resta Hair Salon, Delray Beach Florida.
-Exhibited several designs at West Best Art Gallery for the “Collaboration Annual Art Show”, West Palm Beach, Florida.
-Selected to participate at the Armory Center for The Arts for the Annual Fundraising event “Artillerie” and Fashions Show for two consecutive years 2013-2014.
-Selected to be part of the “Trashformations East” traveling exhibit touring across the USA, starting in Boston MA. This dress made from recycled bicycle inner tubes traveled for five years through museums in New York, California and Ohio.
-Acted as consultant and organizer for “Trashformations East” fundraising event at the Fuller Craft Museum of Brockton MA with a Trash-Fashions Fashion Bash raising U$S 70,000 for the Museum.
-Conducted an art-design workshop for all ages at the Fuller Craft Museum of Brockton, teaching the art of creating jewelry out of discarded material.
-Participated on the annual fundraising event of “The Boston Architectural Center”, presenting recycled rubber dresses worn by models on motorcycles.
-Organized a group of local and international artists and designers and acted as curator of the Trash-Fashions Fashion Show, the first Recycled Fashion Show in Boston, MA.
-Acted as organizer and participant in a series of weekend Trash-Fashions Shows with performances and installations created from reused/reclaimed materials during the “South End Art Open Studios” for two consecutive years 2005-2006.
-Selected to be part of the Show “RE-TREAD Threads” at the Textile Center Minneapolis MN.
-Presented a Trash-Fashions fashion show for “ART IS LIFE” non-profit in Miami, Florida and for “Art Basel 2011” in Wynnewood art district.
-Selected to present three pieces of wearable art at the Dairy Art Center/ Gallery for a show on “Bikes Art” in Boulder, Colorado. Won 2nd prize with one of the pieces and all were selected to go to Ride the Rockies event. Buenos Aires, Argentina: 2006-2010

-Participated in the annual design fair “Puro Diseno” La Rural, to exhibit recycled designs, and to lead a workshop utilizing and transforming scraps of acrylic and bamboo.
-Created the eco-conscious and social project RE-MILK, which trained and employed low income women to recuperate and transform plastic from milk containers into purses, bags and wallets.
-Presented a Trash Fashions Fashion Show at the San Telmo Cultural Center of Plaza Defensa, featuring recycled wearable art on a runway performance.
-Staged a window display and exhibit with recycled wearable art at “La Guanaca Azul” art gallery. France:2005

-Participated in the annual “Ethical Fashion Show”, second edition, presenting recycled outfits on the runway during Paris Fashion Week. New Zealand: 2004

-Selected to present a dress crafted with recycled bicycle inner tubes for the annual Environmental Fashion Show, “Trash To Fashion” of Waitakere, NZ.
