Proud to say the most recent set of gas stations that have joined into the Green Gas Movement network have begun to raise $ for reforestation efforts.

It’s always heartening to see the generosity of everyday people emerge when they’re given the chance to clean up their emissions and green our world.

Climate stories are grossly under-covered in our mainstream media.

That’s why we’re glad to see 60 media outlets are committing “to make it clear to their audiences that climate change is not just one more story but the overriding story of our time.”

Next week, Green Gas makes our debut into the state of Rhode Island! 6 more gas stations have joined our network, brining our carbon offsetting option to an additional 29,000 drivers every month.

Like all other gas stations in the Green Gas network, drivers will now have the option to offset their car's carbon footprint while they fill up via a donation option. Donations then fund our portfolio of carefully curated climate solutions that repair ecosystems, expand sustainable transport options in underserved communities, and measurably remove carbon emissions from our air.

Donations generated from these new stations will specifically support the expansion of the GreenTrees reforestation project, the ValleyBike community bike share program in Massachusetts, as well as a landfill methane destruction project in Virginia.
