🇺🇸 Observed each year on June 14, Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the first official United States flag by the Continental Congress in 1777.
While the design of the flag has evolved over time, its purpose as a national symbol has remained unchanged for nearly 250 years. What Flag Day fact surprised you the most?

New Mexico just reached a major transparency milestone. 🗳️ We're excited to announce the launch of Ballot Verifier in Doña Ana County Clerk's Office , making it the first county in New Mexico to provide public access to ballot images and cast vote records through the platform.
The portal includes ballot images and CVRs from the November 2025 Regular Local Election, allowing voters to compare ballot images side by side with cast vote records, and explore election data in a structured, searchable format.
Congratulations to County Clerk Amanda López Askin, Ph.D. and the entire Doña Ana County team for their leadership and commitment to proactive transparency. 🇺🇸

To become problem solvers, we first have to become problem finders. 💡 When Ada County Elections needed a way to make ballot review and verification possible at scale, no existing partner in the space could meet the challenge, until Civera built Ballot Verifier.
Designed directly alongside election officials, Ballot Verifier was built to reduce manual workload, protect voter privacy, and make election transparency accessible to the public.
We’re proud to see that collaboration recognized with a 2025 Clearie Award from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission. 🏆

Their courage and service continue to be remembered across the nation.

When Ada County Elections faced growing public records requests and increasing demands for election transparency, they went looking for a solution that didn’t yet exist. Working alongside Ada County, Civera built it.
Ballot Verifier was born out of a real challenge election officials were facing across the country. What started as a collaborative effort to solve that problem has now received national recognition. 🇺🇸
We’re proud to congratulate the Ada County Clerk's Office on receiving a 2025 Clearinghouse Award from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission for Ballot Verifier. 🏆

Election data is only as valuable as it is usable. By moving beyond static files and into a searchable, structured system, Sonoma County Registrar of Voters has made it easier to analyze trends across races and over time. Hear from Julianne Goble on what that shift means for their office.
