Dr. Steiber is a senior executive, advisor, author, and researcher with decades of experience in management, quality, innovation, and organizational transformation in fast-changing environments.

With a Ph.D. in Management of Technology from Chalmers University in Sweden, she has authored more than 60 well-cited research papers and 17 scientifically based management books, including The Google Model, The Silicon Valley Model, and Managing in a Digital Age.

As part of the 2026 GIMI Innovation Awards jury, she brings deep expertise in innovation management, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and global standards for innovation excellence.

Yesterday we kicked off the final 2026 cohort of GIMI's Certified Chief Innovation Officer (CCIO) Program.

It is always inspiring to see innovation leaders come together from across the globe. This cohort brings together participants from the United States, Australia, the Philippines, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, France, Brazil, Colombia, and beyond, united by a common goal: building the capabilities needed to make innovation systematic, sustainable, and repeatable.

Over the next four weeks, participants will explore how organizations can move beyond isolated ideas, projects, and innovation champions to build true Innovation Management Systems. They will learn GIMI's proven, ISO-aligned framework across Strategy, Capacity, Discipline, and Performance, which has helped thousands of leaders and organizations build innovation as a core management capability.

What makes this cohort particularly exciting is the diversity of industries, functions, and geographies represented, as well as the shared ambition to create measurable innovation impact within their organizations.
