This past weekend we attend both the Sussex Benefit Show and their Halloween Derby!

Saturday Tori took home Reserve Champion with Partner in the Beginner Hunters out of a large competitive class! Tori and Partner also got to show off their costumes as Jesse and Bullseye from Toy Story!

Sunday Tori and Myla competed in the Halloween derby with Myla taking home a 5th in the derby and a 6th in her warm up and Tori taking home 9th in the derby and 5th in the warm up!

Both girls have grown and advanced so much over the year! We love to see them shine! 😊💕🦄

This kid has worked her butt off the last few years to get here! Huge congratulations to Maddy and Top Gun aka Maverick on a great Fall Finale. Ending up with a 1st, 2nd and 4th in her classes and Champion for the division. So proud!

It’s been a minute!

Congratulations to all our riders who took on the Breast Cancer Benefit show at The Ridge!

Kristy did her first derby in the field, taking home 3rd in her classic and 5th in her warm up out of a big class!

Tori and Maddy came home with some great scores and ribbons in their low and slow derby, earning a 5th and 2nd in their classic rounds!

Myla had some great courses and took home a 3rd in her warm up!

So proud of all these riders and how far they have come! 💕🦄

We’ve been seriously slacking on our posting!

At the end of July, Maddy, Karly, Tori and Lizz attended the Sussex benefit show and everyone had some awesome rounds in their respective divisions!

A week later EVPH took on the Sussex County Fair and had an awesome week! Everyone had some great placings in their respective divisions, each rider worked their butt off taking care of their horses, supporting each other and having fun! 🤩

If anyone is interested in Equisafe coming out to the barn for air vest fittings and demonstrations please let me know! They may be able to squeeze us in for our own barn visit this weekend! They also have a variety of safety stirrups, helmets, body protectors and more

They say it takes a village and we definitely have a great one! We took on Sussex Benefit Series weekend show and Hawaiian Derby Day!

Thank you to everyone who made it possible by helping clean, organize, pack, setup, braid, trailer, horse rescue, photograph, dog hold and emotional support!

Big congratulations to Myla, Maddy and Kristy on their Derby debuts! Everyone had some amazing rounds throughout the day.

Myla was standing 4th in her classic round and WON the class with her handy round score of 82!

Sunday Maddy was standing first in the classic round with a score of 81 and came in 4th in her handy round after a little rein mishap. Saturday Maddy had some amazing short stirrup hunter rounds in a very competitive division!

Kristy ended up with an 11th in her warm up round out of 25 riders and had some awesome jumps in her classic round!

Can’t wait to do it all again 🦄💕

We can’t wait to watch these two riders grow and develop with their young horses. Clearly we are becoming a “Mare” Barn! lol

Hope everyone is staying cool and hydrated! Horses are resting comfortably in their stalls, anyone who was sweating at lunch time got a nice hose down to cool off😊
LESSONS CANCELLED 6/24 UNLESS SUDDEN TEMP CHANGE!

Big Congratulations to Sophia and A Model War Paint aka Partner on their debut in the Itty Bitty Jumpers at SCBS! This was Sophia’s(and Partner’s) first time back in a jumper ring in quite a few years and the pair did great!😊

EV Performance Horses

Our first Briarwood Derby Day was a success! It was a long but rewarding day of doing what we love while giving back!

Maddy and Top Gun had some awesome rounds in their Short Stirrup Divisions bringing home 2 Reserve Champions! They also took on the “Ride for the Pledge” class as Goose and Maverick🛩️🪿 and raised over $700 while bringing home the Spirit award!

Lizz and Highclere Faith knocked off some dust in the jumper ring after a few year showing break and ended up with a 5th and 7th in their two classes. They also rode in the “Ride for the Pledge” class as a Cow who jumped over the 🐄🌙 raising over $1400 and bringing home another spirit award!

All money raised went to the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center in an effort to help find a cure for the people we love who are fighting and in honor of those we have lost! 💕 We will for sure be back next year!
