GOODWILL OF NORTH GEORGIA TO HOLD ‘SECOND CHANCE JOB FAIR’ THIS MONDAY: Goodwill of North Georgia to hold the “Second Chance Job Fair & Resource Event” this Monday, April 27th.

This event will connect job seekers with local employers and community resources, including workforce partners and support organizations. It is designed to provide second-chance employment opportunities and help individuals build a stronger path toward stability and success.

This mission is especially important to our agency due to the long-term effects that climate change has on weather patterns. Significant weather events have and will continue to become more frequent, along with more frequent and intense heat waves, increases in ocean and freshwater temperatures, frost-free-days, heavy downpours, floods, sea level rise, droughts and wildfires.

We appreciate all you do to help protect the earth!

Campers will learn real wilderness skills like:

🏕️ Shelter building
🧭 Navigation & nature awareness
💪 Team challenges & problem solving

Plus, exciting field trips and outdoor excursions that bring it all to life!
✨ Designed to build confidence, resilience, leadership, and a love for the outdoors—all in a safe, structured environment.
