The only ‘AI’ we will ever have on our farm and page stands for artificially inseminate. Thelma and Louise are expecting calves next month thanks to a skilled AI gentleman. 😉
We are blessed to be living near fields that grow crops. We also get to enjoy the crop dusters warming up practicing their routes.

Zeus is a bottle baby. His mama had three babies and we ended up hand raising this sweet boy. He got to go to my office and wow everyone there.

Latte, one of our Nigerian Dwarf goat mamas had three babies. This little fella got his colostrum and was with mom and his siblings a little over nine hours. At that point mama decided for reasons unknown to us, that he needed to go. We acquired goat milk, bottles, diapers and started caring for him ourselves. We bought a much needed goat stand and as one of our mamas only had one kid.. she is helping us feed this little guy. He literally stole our hearts. My husband has potty trained him believe it or not and will follow him out the door and go p*e! We named him Zeus and when he is older and bigger, we will integrate him into the herd. Until then…we are all soaking up this sweet, silly, brave boy!
