BLUE TABLE IS OPENING TOMORROW! Monday, June 1

Unbelievably it will be exactly 1 year today that we closed Blue Table Calabasas. It was such an emotional day of dismantling years of possession, letting go a loving staff (family), and just cherishing the memories.

Today I cleaned and prepped for tomorrows reopen. It reminded me of the first day we opened Blue Table Agoura in 2009 - quiet, alone. brilliant clean & ready to go. As my doubt sets in "Can I do this?" I meet a wonderful couple outside watching me mop. I felt the need to put my mask on, walk outside, and introduce myself. I said "I HATE mopping, but I keep telling myself I am just exercising". I found out they were regulars at my Calabasas location, they were sad it closed. Sarah said. "I remember you from Blue Table Calabasas, you are filled with light. It must be so hard for you and your business but you came outside with a huge (mask hidden) smile on your face." After chatting with them for a bit, I walked back inside to the quiet, clean and said - YES, I CAN DO THIS!

Wednesday May 29th will be our last day open. Come say goodbye today~we will miss seeing all your smiling faces. Thank you for 15 years

Blue Table Calabasas Closing May 30th
Blue Table was purchased in 2004 by Jim and Ellen Marcione as a fun project to do in retirement. Since then their daughter, Gina, opened a 2nd Blue Table location in Agoura Hills with a Wine Bar attached and their daughter, Angela, opened Little Blue Boutique in Calabasas 2009.

Jim passed away in 2012 and Ellen is retiring this year. Blue Table Calabasas will be handing the food torch over to a new chef on June 1st. We are excited about her food being brought to Calabasas and look forward to seeing what she will be doing with the space. Her name is Claudine Bernard she was the chef and co-owner of a restaurant called Cafe 14 in Agoura Hills.

We hope you will go on over to the Blue Table in Agoura Hills when you are craving your favorite Blue Table meal. The Ellen's special will be there waiting for you! It is located in the Whizin Center next door to the Canyon Club.
