never easy, but always worth it

so today i turned 25..

i’m working so no fancy pictures or night out. i guess a picture in the pjs will have to do. and honestly it’s the happiest i’ve ever been. i’m in France surrounded by people i adore, traveling to 3 countries in less than 5 days, all while playing the sport i love. it’s safe to say Jesus has favorites 😝.

most of all i have a relationship with God that no one can take or break. in my pain and brokenness during year 24, He revealed His purpose and destiny for year 25 and on. it’s truly an honor to watch it all play it out, just like He said.

the greatest investment you can make, is in yourself. and i don’t mean self care, trips, or shopping sprees. while i love all of those and it can be nice, it’s not making an impact on you internally. gucci isn’t gonna help you heal(trust me i’ve tried lol).

slow down, sit down and start doing the work to be a better you. to be better for your friends and family, your future children.

trauma plagues us all(TRUST ME). but it’s not an excuse anymore. listen, therapy and Jesus 10/10 recommend, 5 stars honey try it out 🤍😂. let’s end the cycle of passing on trauma from one generation to the next, LET’S BE BETTER !
