You’d never believe this client comes in for a full color refresh about once every other year! 😳 We maintain it between appointments with a purple color depositing shampoo so her color is always vibrant and just grows out as her natural base color with a purple ends. We always love a platinum blonde! The reality of bright blonde or solid blonde, though, is that it can be a lot of upkeep. Regrowth shows more quickly than a more natural color, and the blonding process can take its toll on the health of your hair. I always try to keep the damage to a minimum, but sometimes it’s nice to take a break. I love this more natural dark blonde look. Low maintenance color is really gaining popularity right now and I think this is a beautiful alternative.
