Queen completely surprised us with a beautiful bay sabino filly yesterday morning! We’ve been checking her bag daily and she showed no signs of imminent foaling! This is her 3rd foal with us and so we thought we’d know. But nope!

A storm blew threw yesterday and it snowed a couple inches. Baby was so cold. Luckily Nicole had just bought a brand new baby blanket so after toweling her off we have a baby blanket that we were able to make fit. Again, we were just so surprised! We had all been checking on the mares daily!

Then it got warm as we were standing out there and the snowy ground turned into slippery mud. We had to use a towel to help her stay up because her feet were sliding everywhere. We needed to move them asap.

I had to watch the baby while Nicole speed plowed out the round pen and put straw down. While this happened, the horse herd kind of led the baby down a steep, snowy, muddy hill. Right along the fence 🤦‍♀️

We then had to slowly lead a nervous Queen (worried about the boys, not us!) and guide the baby out with her into the round pen. And did I mention Mocha tried to steal the baby on top of everything else?! It was such a disaster.

But Queen and baby are doing so great. Everything else went picture perfect. Thankfully, it’ll be a very nice and warm week!

Anna’s been having a great time riding Mocha and getting her back into work-mode. Mocha is by NFF Echo’s Blue Moon and out of Martin’s Maugray Glory (smoky silver black).

Mocha and her dam are the only known IHWHA-eligible silver mares out there! Their lines come from Thunder’s War Eagle.

Since summer vacation has started, Anna’s been spending all her free time working with her sweet gelding, F88’s Bullet Strike (SCW Ruddy Ruffian x F88’s Sparkle Plenty).

Their bond is so special! ❤️

We’re expecting 4 heritage TWH foals next spring! Stallion is IHWHA registered and mares are all eligible or registered. All are also TWHBEA, as well. Papers for each horse in comments.

I was finally able to get Marty registered. He’s 9 months old today. 5 months to about 1 year is such an awkward time for babies! Trying to take a pic of him was kind of ridiculous so this is what we got😂

Marty is looking for a new zip code. He has very nice bloodlines and is sweet and easygoing. He’s a bigger c**t, despite his short parents (Sandman and Mocha), and will for sure be over 15 hands.

Heritage-eligible TWHBEA gelding, Legend, is looking for a new home. He’s about 15.1 and 6 years old. Papers in photos. He has had no health issues. He is a max sabino with one blue eye and one brown. Located just east of Denver.

He’s not officially been started but he has been ridden alone around the property a few times and he had no reaction to being ridden, just goes with it.

Pm for more info.

I’m proud to welcome Velvet, the dam to our sweet Mocha, to the farm! A heritage-eligible silver mare, her silver comes from Thunder’s War Eagle, so these two mares will be able to bring in some fresh silver lines to the TWH breed!

NFF Wilson’s Calypso Queen is looking for a new home! Contact for info!

She’s 15.1 hands, very sweet, a great mother, and has her TWHBEA and IHWHA papers. We are planning on doing her first rides in the next couple of days! Her papers are the last photo.
