Fairmont Creamery | Story of Butte 11/27/2025

Fun tidbit of history about one of our recent projects. Thanks to the Story of Butte for sharing. Happy Thanksgiving 🍁

Fairmont Creamery | Story of Butte In 1910, the Fairmont Creamery Company built this industrial building. However, its brick walls, refrigerated rooms, four-ton ice machine, and concrete loading platform were thoroughly modern. Fairmont Cr...

Adios to this historic cutie. It was a labor of love, but the Butte Historic Trust and partners got it done. Cheers to the new owners who are closing as this is posted! *t

Starting to take shape!

Summer 2023 has been a whirlwind! There has been a ton of activity at the Jackson Street house as of late. Here are a few accomplishments to note:

There's still lots of work to be done, but this place is going to be a shining gem again for this neighborhood and Uptown Butte.

We couldn’t agree more! Butte is a special place and our historic structures are always best brought back to life with COLOR!

In a world of drab, monochromatic, modern facades - historic building architecture provides the perfect palate for smart use of color. We're currently working out what tones of blue, yellow, and red, we will be using to dress up the facade of the North Jackson house. The shakes in our front gable are a variety of three different shapes and will definitely command the attention of the neighborhood!

This project is made possible by generous contributions from The 1772 Foundation, Inc. , Superfund Advisory and Redevelopment Trust Authority, & The Montana Cultural Trust.

Here is a little of what we found yesterday in the old Anaconda Pay Office (Daly Bank and Trust, Co.). The first is a historic photo showing the pay counter and the tile floor. Next is what it was like and then what we started to find. Just so excited to have the opportunity to own this piece of history in Butte.
Thanks to Jason Silvernale for the enthusiasm!
