Yesterday I had the absolute privilege of teaching Oula for GAC (Girls Athletic Club), a program for 7th and 8th graders at East Middle School focused on getting girls involved, building confidence, and just moving. We laughed, we sang, and we DANCED.
This was my second year being invited back, and that means a lot. At the beginning of class you can feel a little hesitancy, and by the end they’re moving, singing, laughing, and not caring about a thing.
Oula fills my cup, and it was really fun to show them that movement doesn’t have to fit in a box. It’s okay to take up space. It’s okay to express yourself, sing, clap, and be a little silly. A great reminder that there are so many ways to move your body and to find a modality that brings you joy.
I’m really grateful to have a career that gives me the flexibility to show up for things like this and give back to this community. If even one of those girls walked away feeling more confident, I’ll call that a win.

Selling a home is a big moment, and clear communication matters every step of the way. I’m thankful for clients who allow me to guide them through the process from start to finish.
Real estate is never just about houses.
It’s about people, trust, and relationships.

After going uptown this morning, I had a real sense of local pride. There’s just something about seeing it the day after that really puts it into perspective… there’s no celebration like a Butte St. Patrick’s Day.
You wouldn’t have known there was a massive celebration just hours before. Clean as a whistle, everything back in place, back to normal. That doesn’t just happen.
So let’s give a round of applause to the people behind it. Butte-Silver Bow County, Parks and Rec, and Public Works putting in long hours before, during, and after to make it all come together and then turn it right back around. Law enforcement managing the crowds and keeping things safe, Alysia Guzman and BAMF coordinating a parade with more moving parts than most people realize, and all the volunteers who show up and help because they genuinely care about this place. Teamwork really does make the dream work.
I’ve been in the parade multiple years now, and the crowd never disappoints. The energy, the support… people show up loud and proud every single time. But it’s not just the crowd, it’s the people in the parade too. There’s a real sense of camaraderie, like everyone’s in it together. At one point my phone was about to die, and multiple people I didn’t even know were offering chargers without hesitation.
There are a lot of moving pieces to an event like this and a lot of people putting in the time to make it happen. Butte knows how to have a good time, but we also know how to show up for each other. That’s something to be proud of. 🍀
Bringing “moving houses” to a whole other level.

Grateful to have represented my clients in the sale of their home as they head off to their next chapter out of state. Beautiful property with views that were hard to beat.

If your agent tells you open houses are “old school” or don’t have merit, I’d respectfully disagree.
Open houses create an opportunity for buyers to dip their toe into the real estate world. Maybe they have not started working with an agent yet. Maybe they are just curious about the market. Maybe the whole process feels a little intimidating.
An open house allows people to step inside a home, walk through at their own pace, and get a feel for things without the pressure of scheduling a showing or feeling like they need to make a decision right away.
Sometimes that first simple step is what gives someone the confidence to begin their home buying journey.
So if you ever see one of my open house signs out, feel free to stop in. No pressure. Just an open door (usually with snacks) and a chance to explore at your pace.

Helping this wonderful family sell the home where they built so many memories and helping to guide them into this next chapter in a home that fits their growing family is exactly why I love what I do.
Real estate is never just about houses.
It’s about people, emotions, memories, and the future you’re building.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to build new relationships with wonderful people along the way.
