Planning a trip to see us? You might notice some "No Parking" signs along Main Streetâdon't panic! These restrictions only apply overnight from 8 PM to 6 AM (Monday, Aug 3 â Friday, Aug 7). If youâre hanging with us into the evening, just slide into the parking garages or side street after 8 PM.

Arriving in the Taproom this Thursday - Pullman Pils - stop by and give it a taste!
Brewed in accordance with the German Beer Purity Law, the Reinheitsgebot of 1516, Pullman Pils is crafted using only premium pilsner malt, noble hops, water, and yeast. Bright and refreshing with delicate floral and subtle grassy-herbal hop aromas, a clean malt backbone, balanced bitterness, and a crisp, dry finish, this authentic German pilsner is a tribute to traditional brewing at its finest.

Hop Car Brewing will be closed on July 4th, and our regular hours - closed - on Sunday, July 5th.

A question we get all the time, "are we keeping the mural?" and the answer will always be "Heck yeah!"
This mural is a part of an amazing
project that took place in the city years ago, celebrating some of its history. In 2016, the Walldogs (an international collective of mural artists and sign painters) partnered with the Butler County Historical Society and local volunteers to paint 15 historic murals across downtown Butler. The murals depict many points of local heritage, including the Butler Independent Brewing Company, which was open between 1904 and 1920 under the umbrella of Independent Brewing Company of Pittsburgh.
