Scary. Future.

Research has now shown a 48% reduction in empathy (compassion) and major contributing factors are social media “skits” and rants desensitizing us as we mindlessly scroll many media platforms. 😢

I miss the days of no cell phones and social media.

Our hearts were calmer, quieter and less anxious for sure. We lived our lives at a slower pace. We had more time to think/day dream and talk to Jesus.

🙏🙏🙏 My prayer today is that we can recapture having more time, to take care of ourselves and to figure out ways to put our phones down. 🙏🙏🙏

While I have loved serving coffee in the Butler area this past summer and I have met so many wonderful people, I have realized through my last couple of chemo treatments that I was over tiring and stressing my body.

Even though I was only doing it two days a week, it is in my best interest if I do not take on that extra stress.
