Farmers market friends, this weekend’s seafood lineup has entered the chat! 🐟
Some updates:
We’ll have 4oz smoked keta pouches this weekend instead of sockeye! Same easy snack, same smoky goodness, ready for crackers, bagels, salads, grazing boards, you name it!
We also have the last of our large smoked sides for the next few weeks so if smoked salmon was on your Father’s Day gifting list or brunch board plans, this is the weekend to grab some! Also, 6 oz sablefish is back! 👏🏽
Plus, we’re so excited to be back at the Shorewood Farmers Market! 🤩

Copper River sockeye salmon is making it’s way to The Pasta Tree Restaurant & Wine Bar’s menu tonight and this is a special dinner you do not want to miss.
Copper River sockeye is one of the most celebrated seasonal catches from Alaska and The Pasta Tree is the only restaurant in Milwaukee serving this beautiful fish!
Reservations are highly encouraged because a catch like this won’t stay available long! 🧡

This week's recipe is a delicious Leftover Salmon Salad by Kinsey Brown! 🐟🥬
If there's one thing a fisherman knows, it's how to use a whole fillet! Leftover fish tends to weird people out, it doesn't reheat well and often changes texture after it's been in the fridge. And I get it – you don't want to be the person microwaving fish in the office!
But you should not be intimidated to use this delicious protein in its “leftover” form. In fact, there are a plethora of recipes to make with the end of a cooked fillet that lend themselves well to sandwiches and salads like this one below.
This tangy orzo salad comes together extremely fast and makes the perfect summertime BBQ side dish. It's filling and full of healthy protein and fiber so makes for a great meal prep for the week as well. This recipe includes a simple greek yogurt based dressing but any of your favorite salad dressings will accompany the herbs well in this dish!
