Our recent event, A Walk Toward What’s Next, was made possible by the teamwork of 50+ BC3 employees and alumni volunteers. Together, they helped celebrate our 60th Anniversary while sharing the story of BC3’s impact and future.

What made the evening especially meaningful wasn’t just what our guests saw—it was who they met along the way. Our volunteers brought BC3’s story to life by sharing the experiences of our students, the strength of our programs, the value of our partnerships, and the vision for our future.

They showed our guests that BC3 is more than a college—it’s a community.

We are grateful for the people who make BC3 what it is today and who will help shape what it becomes in the years ahead.

Last week, Butler County Community College celebrated a milestone 60 years in the making with 'A Walk Toward What's Next'.

Community leaders, alumni, board members, and friends of BC3 joined us for an evening that reflected on our history while looking ahead to the future of the college and the region we serve.

As guests traveled across campus, they experienced BC3 through three important lenses: Student Experience, Community Experience, and Workforce Innovation. Each stop highlighted the impact BC3 has made over the past six decades and the opportunities that lie ahead as we continue to prepare students for meaningful careers, strengthen communities, and meet evolving workforce needs.

Thank you to everyone who attended. Your partnership continues to shape the future of BC3 and the thousands of students whose lives are transformed through education each year.

To date, a record 328 students have applied for a record 165 scholarships through the BC3 Education Foundation for the upcoming academic year! This incredible milestone reflects both the determination of our students and the generosity of the donors, alumni, businesses, organizations, and friends who believe in the power of education.

Scholarships help remove financial barriers, create opportunities, and empower students to pursue their goals with confidence. Every scholarship represents an investment in a student’s future—and in the future of our community.

🎓 BC3 Scholarship Application Now Open – Apply by July1!

At BC3, opportunity is within reach - and growing.

The BC3 Education Foundation will offer a record 165 scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year.

BC3 scholarships are open to all students registered for Fall 2026 classes in all majors, including those enrolled in online programs.
- One application = access to 165 awards
- Awards range from $300 to $5,000, with an average of $500
- 93% of the Class of 2025 graduated debt-free thanks to scholarships and financial aid
