BTA is a fixed route transit system that operates five local fixed routes in Butler and commuter routes between Butler and Pittsburgh.

The Jeep Invasion will be Friday, June 12th. The following Butler Transit Authority stops will be affected beginning at 2:30pm:

Local Butler Service

Downtown Terminal on New Castle Street – Use the ARC building on Washington St. at the corner of Jefferson St.

Lafayette – Use Diamond & Washington

Main & Penn – Use Penn and Washington

Brady & Main – Brady & Washington

Wayne & Main – Washington & Wayne

Commuter Service
Downtown Terminal on New Castle Street – NO afternoon pick up and drop off.
Commuter buses are not able to navigate the detour routes, therefore, the only afternoon and drop off in Butler will be Pullman Square.

Passengers can expect delays due to the road closures and heavy traffic in Butler.

Route 1 and 5 will detour on May 20th and 21st due to a road closure on Duffy Road. Passengers wanting to use the Whitestown and Duffy stop will need to pick up the bus at Whitestown and Home. Anyone wanting to use Duffy at Hazlett will need to use 68 and Duffy.

There will be no bus service on Monday, May 25th in honor of Memorial Day.
