We want to thank all of those who have passed thru our doors. It has been a great run (87 yrs) and we will miss you all. Being a small business is very hard these days. Trying to compete with the big corporations, the internet and the current state of our economy has been hard on many businesses large and small, but especially the "mom & pop" stores. Remember when shopping support the small businesses. We try harder, care more....this just isn't a job for us, its our livelihood and our passion. Don't fall for the "Big Box" mentality that their prices are always cheaper.....many times so is their product. If the trend of patronizing these huge corporations continues, soon we will all be dressing,using,eating etc alike because our choices will be limited. Support you local small business!

To all our valued customers, friends and Downtown neighbors we are sorry to announce that after 87 years in business, we will be closing our doors. It has been a pleasure serving the community of Butler for 4 generations. Details have yet to be finalized, inventory and fixtures to be sold. This was a very difficult decision to make, after some talking and many tears we realized that the time has come. We are going to miss our customers new and old! We have made many friends thru the years....please stop in to say good-bye, have a hug and wish us luck on new ventures. We have had the gift of getting up every morning and looking forward to coming to work, not many people can say that. We will miss each and everyone of you more than you will ever know, but will always be eternally grateful that you have passed thru our door.
