BC3’s Rho Phi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society was recognized this semester at the PTK Catalyst Convention in Baltimore for achieving a three-star level! ⭐⭐⭐

Congratulations to Karolina Karner, Savannah Morris, Stacey Ward and Serena Horstman, who attended the annual event alongside Rhiannon Baron, BC3 @ Cranberry administrator and chapter adviser.

Last week, the BC3 golf team moved to 5–2 after a strong showing at Lake Arthur Golf Club.

Mitchell Covert led BC3 with an 80, marking the seventh time in the past 20 matches he’s posted the team’s lowest score.

The Pioneers finished second overall and topped the Community College of Allegheny County in the match.

Happy Earth Day from BC3! 🌎

On April 9, BC3 @ Armstrong students and faculty collected litter near Ford City as part of the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful initiative.

And on April 14, Main Campus students from Phi Theta Kappa’s Rho Phi Chapter tackled a stretch of Vogel Road through PennDOT’s Adopt-a-Highway program.

Thank you to everyone who participated to help keep our community clean. Small actions lead to big impact!

Congratulations to Isaac Bruce, Kylie Burke and Svenja Evans on their nominations for the 2026 Health Care Student of the Year Awards, presented by the Butler County Health Care Consortium and the Tri-County Workforce Investment Board.

👏 Isaac completed BC3’s EMS Academy in 2025
👏 Kylie is a current student in BC3’s Nursing (R.N.) program
👏 Svenja graduated in December from BC3’s Practical Nursing program

We are of these future healthcare professionals and their commitment to strengthening our communities. 💙

Future educators in the Early Childhood Education (Pre K–4) program at BC3 recently brought math to life by designing interactive games for preschoolers from the Amy Wise Children’s Creative Learning Center.

The hands-on activities took place in the Dr. Robert L. Paserba Teaching and Learning Lab on BC3’s main campus — a space dedicated to helping future teachers gain real classroom experience.

Experiences like this help BC3 students build the skills and confidence they need to inspire the next generation of learners. 🍎
