Proud to be a female small business owner, today and everyday!

The original concept for Something Social was actually social media coverage for weddings and events. Imagine having a live hashtag wall at your wedding reception, just like a jumbotron at sporting events. Or if your wedding ceremony was live streamed on Facebook, so distant relatives could experience it in real time.

The idea was well received, but it never took off in our area. Eventually, I had the opportunity to morph SS into a broader, more robust digital & social marketing business.

One of the post strategies that I consistently use for Schneider's One Hour Heating & Air is birthdays. On an employee birthday, I get them a 1/2 dozen cupcakes from Pennie's Bakery and snap a quick photo. It's nice for the community to get to know the employees, but it also adds to the team culture at Schneider's One Hour.

I’m a proud member of ConnectWork on Main! You can often find me there on Mondays, which tend to be my admin and “other projects” days. This picture is from the Benoit Room, where I was recording a new podcast episode.
