Butler County and points North are under a Code Purple Air Quality Alert until late Friday evening. Conditions should improve early Saturday morning as a Cold Front begins to move in and produce rain. Take extreme caution if you need to be outdoors.

Three firefighters lost their lives over the weekend battling the Snyder Wildfire on the Utah-Colorado border. The wind changed suddenly and all three became trapped and had no chance to escape. Their deaths come just a few days before the Prescott 19 LODD anniversary. Say a prayer for their families.
