Not because everything is going perfectly.
Not because every prayer has been answered the way you hoped.
Not because life is easy.

Because the Lord is good. His love endures forever, and His faithfulness continues through every generation.

So today, whatever you’re carrying, pause and remember who God is.

Then give thanks.
Then worship.
Then rejoice.

Psalm 100

Doubt can feel like the opposite of faith—but it doesn’t have to be.

This past Sunday, Pastor Bob walked us through Psalm 13 and reminded us that even when we question God, feel distant from Him, or struggle to trust His promises, we can still bring those doubts honestly to Him.

Doubt is not the end of faith. It can be the bridge God uses to lead us toward a stronger faith and deeper trust in Him.

The presence of doubt does not mean the absence of faith.

If you missed Sunday’s message, or if you’re walking through a season of doubt yourself, we’d encourage you to take some time to watch the full sermon: www.butlercac.org/messages

You can’t stop the storms. But you can deepen your roots.

The winds of life will come—but when your life is planted in God’s presence, His Word, and relationships that point you toward Him, you can stand firm.

Storms are not a choice. Roots are.

Start growing where you’re planted.

There's something special about Sundays like this.

From celebrating baptisms to worshiping together and sharing life as a church family, we're reminded that God is always at work. Every story is different, but every step of faith matters.

Whether you've been here for years or you're just looking for a place to belong, there's room for you here as we continue becoming the people God created us to be.

Our team is packed up and making one final stop before heading to the airport—a quiet place overlooking the ocean to spend time reflecting with Jesus on all He has done this week.

We’d appreciate your prayers for safe travels home and for continued good health as we make our journey.

What an incredible week it has been. We’ve seen God at work in so many ways through new friendships, serving alongside our Dominican partners, and sharing His love with this beautiful community. We can’t wait to be home and share more stories of all we’ve experienced and the amazing things God has done.

What an incredible week of ministry in the Dominican Republic! 🇩🇴❤️

Each morning, our team has been serving together by helping paint a local church. In the afternoons, they’ve divided into different ministry opportunities—leading Vacation Bible School, facilitating English conversations and games, building relationships through art and activities at the Greenhouse Café, and connecting with students through basketball and volleyball at the nearby university.

God has opened so many doors in such a short time, and we’re thankful for the meaningful relationships that have already been formed. We’re also incredibly grateful that everyone has remained healthy and has had the energy to serve well throughout the week.

Today the team is enjoying a much-needed day of rest at the beach before traveling home tomorrow. Please pray for continued health, safe travels, and that God would continue to encourage and grow each member of the team as they reflect on all He has done this week.

We’re so proud of these students and leaders for their willingness to serve with joy, work hard, and share the love of Jesus wherever they go. Thank you for praying with us!

Where do you turn when life feels overwhelming?

It's easy to rely on our own plans, strength, or strategy—but Scripture reminds us that our true help comes from the Lord.

"I lift my eyes up to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." — Psalm 121:1–2

No matter what you're facing today, God's help isn't far away. His name is still our refuge, our strength, and our hope.

Watch this clip from Sunday's message with Pastor Dave Fetherlin, and be encouraged to place your trust where it truly belongs.

Our team continues to learn, serve, and build meaningful relationships in the Dominican Republic!

Last night they had the opportunity to join the monthly young adult gathering at Greenhouse Cafe, where they helped lead parts of the worship service alongside local believers. It was a special evening of worship, encouragement, and connection.

This morning started with a Spanish lesson, helping prepare the team to communicate more effectively as they begin serving through VBS and community projects over the next few days. After lunch, they'll experience more of the local culture with a ride on the city's teleférico before continuing their ministry opportunities.

Thank you for praying for this team! Pray that God would continue to strengthen the relationships they're building, give them confidence as they serve, and use them to share His love with everyone they meet. 🇩🇴❤️

Our team in the Dominican Republic experienced an incredible morning of worship together!

Today included four hours of church—beginning with a powerful time of prayer over families, healing, the nation, and God’s provision. From there, they joined in joyful worship, celebrated what God is doing, heard a message from Brandon Nutter, and shared in communion together.

Now they’re looking forward to a more relaxed afternoon filled with even more worship, fellowship, and time together. Thank you for continuing to pray for our team as they serve and grow in their faith!

Please pray for our CAC Youth team as they head to the Dominican Republic today! 🇩🇴
