The ceremony is the shortest part of the wedding day, but they’re also the most stressful.

As the DJ, it’s stressful because it has to be flawless. There are other parts of the day where you can adjust on the fly if something doesn’t go according to plan. The ceremony can’t be one of them.

Once it starts, all eyes are on the couple. My job is to make sure they stay there. Every song, every microphone, and every cue has to happen exactly when it’s supposed to, so the only thing anyone remembers is the moment.
