Sleep is important when recovering from a concussion but oversleeping and fragmented sleep can be detrimental.
If you are taking naps throughout the day and they are altering your nighttime sleep, you need to avoid napping.
Your goal is to get 8-9 hours of unfragmented sleep with consistent sleep and wake times during your recovery. If recommended by a doctor, you may utilize magnesium bisglycinate for sleep quality or melatonin for sleep consistency.

Not all rehab professionals are equipped to treat all conditions. After something as in-depth as an ACL reconstruction, you need a clinician experienced in strength and conditioning principles, one that has solid return to run/sport criteria, and one that has the adequate time and equipment to appropriately treat your condition.
