Fundraising is vital for NHA. Funds raised help the organization get the equipment that we need (timing systems, blocks, etc.), as well as keep team club costs lower. To better help plan future fundraising opportunities, take a few minutes to complete the survey that was EMAILED to your family by June 26th.
Thank you!

There currently is a chemical imbalance in the pool.  The school district is working to correct the issue, but unfortunately we are forced to cancel practice this evening.

We are hopeful that the issue will be resolved by tomorrow.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

🛟It's National Water Safety Day!!!!!🛟
🏊‍♂️Thank you to our NHA swimmers for this presentation on how to be safe at our pool!!!🏊‍♀️

❗️Here are Essential Water Safety Rules near all bodies of water❗️

💦Learn Water Competency: Ensure everyone knows how to enter, stay afloat, swim, and exit the water.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧Supervise Closely: Never leave children unattended. Avoid distractions like phones, especially when children are in or near water.

🧑🏻‍🤝‍🧑🏾Swim with a Buddy: Never swim alone. A buddy can help or call for assistance if an emergency occurs.

🦺Use Life Jackets: Wear U.S. Coast Guard-approved life vests when boating or if you are an inexperienced swimmer.

⭕️Designated Areas & Lifeguards: Swim only in areas supervised by a lifeguard.

👣Feet First Entry: Enter water feet-first to avoid injuries, particularly in shallow or unfamiliar areas.

🚫🍻Stay Sober: Avoid alcohol, which impairs judgment and coordination, while swimming or boating.

🛟Reach, Throw, Don't Go: If someone is in trouble, reach or throw a flotation device. Do not jump in to save someone, as it can lead to multiple drownings.

🫁Avoid Breath-Holding Games: Do not play games holding your breath, as this can lead to shallow water blackout.

🌊Check Conditions: Look for hazards like, rip currents, strong winds, and cold water. At beaches, watch for warning flags. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
