Tonight, we Honor and Celebrate the 1st Collector T-Shirt car owner.

The vehicle selected is a 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe
Owner: Bob Sovis, passed away in February this year.

Bob bought the car in 1968 as a low-mileage original and entered it into many events with the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America and the Antique Automobile Club of America. He won many Seniors, Gold awards, and Preservation Awards. Participated in the 6 Cylinder tours and National events with clubs all over the US. Bob completed the 2021 Back to the Bricks Visionary Promo Tour around Michigan as a farewell trip with family and friends. After the tour, he donated the 39’ to Sloan Museum in Flint where it is on display at both the museum and at Bishop Airport.

Many of Bob's family members will be at tonight's Tune-Up Party.

Excitement is building as Tune-Up Parties are officially READY to rock and roll. They will take place over the course of next week around the county. Attractions and activities will vary by location, but include concessions, Official Back to the Bricks® Merchandise, Official Back to the Bricks® Root Beer, vendors, DJ Scott Kool, live music in Fenton, dancing in the streets and giveaways, including 250 Collector T-shirts, thanks to Huntington National Bank, at each location with brand new designs unique to that community.

A word from the Tune-Up Parties Chairman

Hey everyone,

There have been a lot of questions about this year's Tune Up Week. We know you are excited to attend each night, so let's get into it.

Everyone needs to register for your opportunity to WIN the Free Collector T-Shirts each night. We've tried this process the last two years, and it really helps to make it more fair for everyone. We have hundreds of car enthusiasts that work full time, and never could make it to the downtown locations, line up, or early staging for the coveted t-shirt tickets. So again this year we ask everyone to register, and then you will get a QR Code. This is a unique code you will have for the entire week, and even Main Event Week.

Each day, park and then bring your cell phone or QR code print out to the Information Booth. Check in. You will be automatically entered to WIN a t-shirt. Random selection will start and continue through the end of the shows. You just bring your phone to the Huntington Banks Truck and show you are winner and grab your shirt!

If you haven't done so already, REGISTER NOW!

At the Mt Morris City Tune-Up party there will special dash plaques for our veterans in honor of their service to our country. Without their service we would not be able to have these events.

Be sure to check out the merchandise tent at each event! There will be t-shirts, dash plaques, posters, our amazing Root Beer and much more!
