Tally’s second go around wasn’t as busy for shooting. I was only able to get her on one, but she found her nose. She went and took the page out of Joe Majdecki’s Darryl and went and found herself a duck in the corn all on her own.

We had the pleasure of getting Lydan and Griffin on some birds for the Youth/Veterans hunt. It was Griffins first time out and he got the full experience(Brett sticking the boat places it shouldn’t be). Had a nice little mixed bag, and a ton of laughs.

Got Tally out for her first hunt. She got some birds which was good. However, we ran into the roadblock of her not being comfortable in the environment… her being a house dog for the better part of her life I believe has severely impacted her natural drive. Not too sure where to go from here. Going to try a field hunt soon, to see if she is hopefully more confident hunting on land. Hoping that due to her lack of experience in the boat or in the marsh, is the reason for her lack of enthusiasm.

Opening weekend of Teal season was a success.

Even though he didn’t make it out in the marsh with us this weekend.
His time is coming, and I can’t wait.

Hats are in and will be hand delivered to everybody by the end of the week. We apologize for the delay, we are working with our distributor to ensure this issue doesn’t happen again.

We want to thank everybody who preordered the first Limited Edition Only Fowl hats. I also wanted to update everyone on the order, we ended up with a back order on some of the products. We estimated this week for our original arrival, however it seems we’re getting pushed back till the end of the month for all the hats to get here. I will keep everyone posted on when their hat arrives and we will contact everybody individually to make up for the lead time. Thanks for your patience and support.
