🚲❤️ BIKE RODEO RECAP! ❤️🚲

What a great day at Elm! Our students had a blast putting their bike skills to the test while learning some pretty important lessons about bike safety, helmets, rules of the road, and riding with confidence.

A HUGE thank you to the Burr Ridge Police Department for spending the day with our Elm kids and helping make safety fun! We are so grateful for the time, energy, and care you continue to give our community. ❤️

And a big thank you to King Keyser for generously donating their time to help check bikes and keep our little riders rolling safely! 🚲👏

And an extra HUGE shoutout to our amazing Elm moms, Haley & Tina, for all the time, planning, and behind-the-scenes work that helped make today happen! ❤️🐾 Events like this don’t come together without parents who jump in and make the magic happen—and we are so grateful for you both!

It takes a village—and we’re pretty lucky to have this one.

🇺🇸HAPPY LABOR DAY WEEKEND, ELM FAMILIES!🇺🇸

There’s something about Labor Day weekend that always feels a little bittersweet — one last long weekend to hold onto summer before we settle into the rhythm of fall. ☀️

Beyond the barbecues, lake days and extra family time, Labor Day is also a chance to recognize the hard work and contributions of generations of American workers who have helped build and strengthen our communities. 🇺🇸

So this weekend, we hope our Elm families slow down, soak it all in, make a few more summer memories and enjoy some well-earned time together.

Stay safe. Have fun. Stay up a little too late. Let the kids run barefoot. Take the pictures. And enjoy that last little taste of summer. ❤️☀️

What a way to kick off the Elm PTO year! ❤️🐾

Our FIRST PTO meeting of the year had an INCREDIBLE turnout — standing room only! 🙌 More chairs will officially be added next time… and what a GREAT problem to have! ❤️

We were also so excited to welcome our new Superintendent, Dr. Jim Wipke, who stopped by to introduce himself and help us start the year on such a positive note!

A HUGE thank you to Principal Olson, PTO President Haley Zaffar, and Vice President Julie Reddy for leading the way and setting such an enthusiastic, welcoming tone for the year ahead. 👏

Seeing a room FULL of parents ready to show up, get involved, ask questions, share ideas, and support our kids and school is exactly what PTO is all about.
