Last week, our residents in the Rivers Landing Memory Care neighborhood brought the golf course indoors and enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of putting and friendly competition. From big smiles to a few impressive shots, it was a great way to stay active, engaged, and lift everyone’s spirits despite the weather!

We love finding creative ways to keep our residents moving and making memories—rain or shine! 💙

**🎉 June Birthday Celebration Lunch 🍽️**

At The Rivers, we love celebrating our residents in meaningful ways! Once a month, our Culinary and Life Enrichment teams partner together to host a special Birthday Lunch for all residents celebrating that month.

Each guest is treated to a delicious three-course meal, thoughtfully prepared just for them. June’s featured menu included a flavorful Pasta Rosa Langostino, followed by a beautifully crafted Key Lime dessert to end the meal on a sweet note.

Thank you to our amazing teams for creating such a memorable experience—and happy birthday to all of our June celebrants! 💙🎂

🌭☔ Resident & Team Member Appreciation BBQ Success! 🎉

Yesterday, The Rivers proudly hosted our annual Resident & Team Member Appreciation BBQ—and not even the rain could dampen the fun!

Despite the weather, our community came together to enjoy great food and time spent with one another. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible residents and dedicated team members who make The Rivers such a special place every day.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day memorable—we appreciate you all! 💙

We love when our friends from River Hills Early Childhood Center come to visit! 💛 It’s especially heartwarming to see our beloved resident, Granny Goose, sharing her love of reading—bringing stories to life for both the children and our residents in memory care. Moments like these truly make The Rivers feel like home. 📚✨

The Rivers residents enjoyed a beautiful outing to the Normandale Japanese Garden! 🌿🌸 While the weather had other plans and our picnic moved onto the bus, spirits stayed high with plenty of snacks and great company. It was a wonderful day of making memories together—rain or shine! 💛

☕✨ The Rivers recently hosted a delightful High Tea for our residents, and it was truly a charming afternoon to remember!

From elegant teacups and delicious treats to wonderful conversation and laughter, the room was filled with joy and connection. 💕 Our residents & visitors enjoyed every moment of this special event, embracing the timeless tradition of tea with great company.

🎶 We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of live music with Meller Brass last week! 🎺
Their lively performance had our residents tapping their toes and smiling from start to finish—always a treat to welcome such talented musicians into our community.

🐎🎩 Derby Day Fun at The Rivers! 🎩🐎
We celebrated Derby Day this past Friday with plenty of laughs and friendly competition! Some of our director staff suited up and raced their horses while our residents placed their bets and cheered them on.
🏆 A big congratulations to “Occupancy Optimizer” for taking the win!
It was a joyful afternoon filled with excitement, smiles, and great community spirit!
