Kiwi App v1.6.2 September Release — Sept. 9, 2026

This September release focuses on reliability and a smoother experience across Kiwi and Kiwi+ devices, with fixes for firmware updates, device detection, and video status handling.

For Pro and Plus users, we’ve also added a new Boot Mouse toolbar button that appears when Boot Mode (BIOS/UEFI) is detected, making mouse control during BIOS/UEFI setup easier to access.

* Fixed a firmware update issue on MacOS for Kiwi+
* Fixed a timer bug in video status check
* Reduced false alarm about 'USB2 cable' when detecting Kiwi
* [Pro/Plus only] Added a mouse toolbar button to help user enable/disable mouse support when the Boot Mode is detected (in BIOS)

Celebrating the 4th of July this year by giving back! We are donating a batch of Kiwi KVMs to Educational Institutions (up to 10 units per org).

Robotics tooling is essential for bringing manufacturing back to America. Cytrence Kiwi itself is proudly designed and assembled in the USA.

Exciting update from the recent Nvidia GTC’26: Cytrence Kiwi delivered a smooth and reliable experience throughout the DGX Spark workshop.

Behind the scenes, the Nvidia DGX Spark workshop team conducted a series of careful evaluations, ultimately selecting Kiwi for its clean, near-agnostic setup:

• With just a few cables connected, the host laptop could access DGX Spark right from boot time
• The seamless KiwiApp experience allowed participants to stay fully focused on their tasks, without worrying about the environment

For those new to Cytrence Kiwi, this is a great example of how Kiwi can support day-to-day workflows. In this case, it proved to be a natural fit for on-desktop AI computing for enabling distraction-free work with state-of-the-art DGX Spark systems.

We’re honored that Kiwi’s simplicity has made a meaningful difference in such a hands-on workshop setting and looking forward to seeing more teams adopt similar setups!
