Our award-winning enterprise imaging platform and zero footprint universal image viewer make healthcare safer and easier for everyone. At Mach7, our purpose is simple: to deliver to healthcare professionals the tools they need to help their patients achieve better health outcomes. Every day, medical practitioners face the challenge of bringing together an immense amount of patient data from multip
The evolution of AI is moving from mere data creation to active consumption and learning user behavior. This shift towards agentic AI promises personalized experiences, anticipating needs before we even realize them. This is the crucial next step in operationalizing AI and unlocking its true value, not to replace humans, but to empower them.
Healthcare leaders now understand that rigid, standardized approaches can strain front-line operations. The focus is shifting to intelligent standardization, balancing enterprise-wide interoperability and governance with the flexibility needed for diverse workflows like radiology, pathology, and teleradiology. Orchestration is key to this sophisticated balance.

Last week in Pittsburgh, was all about building bridges across imaging informatics, and interoperability was the throughline of the week.
It is exactly the conversation we came to have on our panel, "Beyond the Monolith." Our biggest takeaway: pathology is moving to the center of the enterprise imaging conversation, and the field is ready to treat it that way.

Building Bridges at SIIM 2026 - Mach7 Technologies Our takeaways from SIIM 2026 in Pittsburgh, where interoperability and connecting specialties into one enterprise imaging strategy took center stage.
We're moving beyond training users on software. The future is training AI on user needs, focusing on clear clinical outcomes. It's about adapting software to us, not the other way around, for a better patient experience.
Enterprise imaging in radiology has transformed significantly. Gone are the days of pure consolidation and standardization. Today, it's a nuanced blend of legacy systems and cutting-edge tech, amplified by COVID-driven teleradiology and AI advancements. Patients demand access, providers need complete views, and modernization must minimize disruption.

With SIIM26 wrapped up in Pittsburgh, a few themes stand out from the conversations this week.
The imaging informatics community is focused on solving real operational challenges: how to govern AI in clinical workflows, how to connect imaging data across increasingly distributed environments, and how to build infrastructure that supports innovation without adding complexity.
What is clear is that the organizations making progress are the ones investing in their data foundation first. Enterprise imaging is not a single product decision. It is an architectural strategy that determines how effectively everything else, from AI to cloud to cross-enterprise access, can be deployed.

Mixing old legacy tech with new systems creates constant friction. Every extra step, every new app, every alert adds up, slowing things down and hurting morale. Interoperability without usability is useless. It's not just a tech problem; it's an operational one needing new processes and a better mindset.
We're moving beyond 'if' AI will replace clinicians to 'how' it will augment them. The focus is shifting to training software on user needs for improved clinical outcomes, ensuring a trustworthy data foundation for a safe AI future and better patient experiences.

The SIIM Annual Meeting kicks off today in Pittsburgh, bringing together imaging informatics professionals from across the globe.
SIIM26 is where conversations about enterprise imaging, AI governance, interoperability, and cybersecurity move from theory to practice. The sessions, workshops, and hands-on learning labs this year reflect the growing complexity of imaging environments and the need for infrastructure that can keep pace.
These are the same challenges Mach7 was built to address: connecting imaging data across systems, supporting vendor-neutral architectures, and creating a foundation that enables innovation rather than limiting it.
We look forward to the conversations ahead.

How many imaging archives is your organization maintaining right now?
Every additional archive means another support contract, another storage silo, another place where clinical data gets lost between systems.
The organizations reducing that number are spending less on infrastructure and more on what actually matters.
