A huge thank you to Google’s Teen Mental Health Initiative for fully funding this Donors Choose grant for our BHS Library. New rice paper lamps for soft lighting and games and art supplies to help our students relax, recharge and connect.

BHS Library was proud to host the collaborative BTV City Council and BSD School Board meeting on Monday night. They spent several hours discussing important city issues, not the least of which were safety, justice and policing, and state government legislation impacting our schools and community. BTV City Council officially confirmed the appointment of Jessica Brown as BTV’s new city attorney, the first-ever Black woman to hold this position.

This group was a little more (ahem) “mature” than our usual library crowd!
