Open mic and featured artist sets at the Radio Bean. Wednesday nights 6:30-8:30 PM. Open mic sign up from 6:30-8:30 at the bar. Poetics start around 8 o clock.

Featured artists showcased between open mic sessions every first and third Wednesday each month. All word is welcome! Poetry, rap verses, a song, short prose.... All languages, cultures, faces, religions and ideas welcome! On February 22nd at 7 PM, THE BLACK EXPERIENCE returns to the Flynn. Experience the vibrancy of Black culture in Vermont, with an event that connects, educates, and empowers. This year's featured speaker is award-winning author and journalist, Ta-Nehisi Coates. Tickets are priced at $23 - $49.25. Learn more by clicking on the link in our bio. Ta-Nehisi Coates is best known for works like Between the World and Me (National Book Award winner) and The Water Dancer. His journalism, featured in publications such as The Atlantic and The New York Times, includes influential pieces like "Fear of a Black President" and "The Case for Reparations." Coates has also ventured into comics, writing for Marvel's Black Panther and Captain America.
