Did a little ukulele fixing this past week. This was actually my dad’s that he got in the 5th grade! It was in pretty rough shape. Biggest issue was the bridge had broken off sometime around Apollo 11. I reattached the bridge, fixed some fret issues with a dress and polish, polished and adjusted the tuners so they now can hold a tune, cleaned and fancied up the top, and threw on a new set of strings.
That’s also the original box it came in but that’s a project for another day.

Worked on a few projects that are completely new to me. I was hesitant to try but failure is the best teacher. I don’t think this was a complete failure though. Little adjustments to the alignment and I should be good to go. What do you think?

Starting to get the hang of my laser engraver...kinda.
This is made from 3 layers of 1/4” plywood.

Working on figuring out all the settings for cutting. The little one was the one you saw yesterday. The big one is the size I normally sell.

So I did a thing today. Bought me a laser engraver. Still learning but don’t think this is half bad for my first attempt. What do you think?

Think I figured out what was wrong with my machine. Best part is, it didn’t cost me a dime to fix…for now. Just about 2 hours of tearing things apart and diagnosing.
Anyway, made this Gotham City PD badge just for kicks to test my machine. Turned out ok minus a coupling of blowout spots. But that’s what you get when you use plywood instead of hardwood. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

I’m bringing the CNC machine back! I haven’t worked with it for a while because it’s been broke but I’ve had enough people asking about engraved pieces to justify fixing it. I was digging through some stuff today and found some unsold pieces. If you want one, let me know and I’ll get it to you. This will help me get the part I need faster too!

1992 Yamaha F310 for sale. Brand new nut, saddle, and strings. Come with the case. Some wear and tear but plays really comfortably and still sounds great. Nice bright and warm tone that Yamahas are known for. Maybe you didn’t get the guitar you wanted for Christmas. This is a great guitar to learn on!
$120
Help me out. Like and share so this can be seen by more people.

This 1992 Yamaha F-310 came to me nearly unplayable. The nut was extremely low and shimmed up with a business card. After a quick job of building a new nut and a truss rod adjustment, this 30 year old guitar plays pretty good. The nut and the saddle had to be cut down to make it play comfortably but the action is still a little high. Possible neck reset in the future? Yeah, probably but I got some tools to buy first.
Oh yeah, the bridge plate was pretty chewed up too. I meant to take a picture before I got the strings on so I could better see what’s next for this guitar buuut I forgot.

Late 50s/early 60s Harmony Monterrey with some serious neck issues. The action was incredibly high when I got it and noticed the heel and fretboard extension was loose. This came off with no heat applied and almost completely without tools.

Hit me up if you want one!

Had this this cubby hole that was just collecting junk. Turns out it was a great spot to set up a CNC work station.
Unfortunately my CNC machine still has a mind of its own and only works about half the time. Maybe if I can make a couple of sales, I can get the part to fix it *cough* *cough*
