Mission: To deliver lifelong support for the well-being of the special needs community. We now have three major programs to turn these dreams into reality.

Our organization was founded in March of 2009 to assist those with Autism and other special needs, as well as their families, both emotionally and financially. Since then, our grass roots organization has helped over 100 families and that number is rapidly growing. We firmly believe to become successful, children with special needs learn and grow more with experience. For this reason we strive to

What a week at CAMP. πŸŒŸπŸ’™

This week our campers explored constellations β€” making slime, crafting star bracelets, and even bringing the night sky to life in our glow-in-the-dark cave! ✨

A little space-inspired fun, a little gaming excitement, and plenty of hands-on creativity from start to finish.

So much fun that REACH even came in to explore too! 🌌

This is what summer at Center for ASD looks like β€” imagination, connection, and a whole lot of fun!

We are different on purpose. And weeks like this are exactly why. πŸŒŸπŸ’™

β˜€οΈ Mid-Month Update β˜€οΈ

Half of June is done β€” and we need to talk about how incredible this month has been. πŸ’™

Because none of it β€” not one single moment β€” would have happened without our volunteers.

These are the people who showed up before the campers arrived and stayed after they left. The ones who led activities, supported participants, set up, cleaned up, and jumped in without being asked. The ones who gave their time, their energy, and their hearts to make sure every participant had a summer experience worth remembering.

That is not a small thing. That is everything.

To our campers β€” thank you for choosing to spend part of your summer with us. Watching you laugh, grow, and connect with each other is exactly why we do this. We loved every single minute with you. 😊

If you have ever thought about volunteering β€” this is your sign. What you give comes back tenfold in smiles, in breakthroughs, in moments you’ll carry with you forever.

We still have more summer ahead. And we cannot wait. πŸŒŸπŸ’™

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY ✨
Where we share participant stories, family experiences, and the impact of the Center for ASD.

✨ Meet Wesley, one of our amazing participants in the THRIVE program! ✨ Every family has a unique journey, and we are honored to be a part of Wesley’s. We recently asked his mom to share how the Center has impacted their family, and her heartfelt words remind us why creating opportunities for connection, growth, and belonging is so important.

Here is what she had to share about their experience with the Center:
πŸ’¬ Wesley really enjoys being at home with his family. He enjoys bouncing on his exercise ball, playing, and currently reading Harry Potter. Outside the home, he enjoys his activities with Boy Scouts, church, and riding his bike. His favorite subject in school is science, and he currently has a special interest in space.

What does he like most about Thrive? Wesley puts it best!
"It’s really chill, I have fun, and people like me there."

As parents, we have appreciated seeing Wesley be included and accepted. He never wants to miss an event. The times I have been up there at the Center- I see the kids having the time of their lives. Thanks for loving on our son and making him feel known and seen.

πŸ’™ Thank you, Wesley and family, for sharing your story with us.

Fantasy & Legends week is a wrap β€” and what a week it was! 🏰✨

Week 2 of CAMP brought the magic and our campers absolutely loved every minute. None of it would have been possible without the incredible people who showed up for them.

A huge thank you to:

🎨 Volunteers Ava & Sheyzd for bringing the fun with face painting!
πŸͺ Ms. Amy for donating cookie decorating kits β€” such a sweet touch!
🎡 Ms. Adrien from BEAT Services for the music that keeps our campers moving every week!
πŸ–ŒοΈ Ms. Jennifer for leading an amazing art class!
πŸ’ƒ Cordie & Aislynn with Innovative Dance Community for spending time with our campers and bringing the energy!

This is what CAMP is all about β€” community coming together to create moments our campers will never forget. πŸ”οΈπŸ’™

What a weekend of giving. πŸ§©πŸ’™

We are still riding the high from not one but TWO incredible fundraisers β€” and we just have to say thank you.

First, to every family who came out to Burleson for our fundraiser night β€” thank you for showing up and supporting us just by enjoying a meal. Every bite made a difference! 🍦

And to the amazing Six Band β€” a HUGE thank you for not just performing but for organizing and putting this entire event together for Center for ASD. πŸŽΈπŸ’™

Every dollar raised goes directly toward the families and participants we serve every single day. You made a difference this weekend β€” and we don’t take that lightly.

Thank you. From the bottom of our hearts. πŸ’™

We are different on purpose. And so is this community.

06/06/2026

πŸ”₯ TONIGHT (June 6th) from 7 PM–10 PM at Roadhouse on 67 β€” just west of Cleburne!

Come out for an incredible live performance by Seven 6 Band. If you’ve seen them before, you already know how great they are. If you haven’t, tonight is the night to experience it!

πŸ’™ Your support helps the Center for ASD! We’ll have a 50/50 raffle plus a few additional raffle items, with a goal of raising $1,000 to support Family Thrives.

Enjoy a fun night of live music while making a meaningful difference for local special needs families. Hope to see you there! 🎢
