Kenwood TM-733A on the bench. Installed LED backlights, repaired Microphone PTT, replaced several capacitors and repaired power cable connector. Working great!

Kenwood TM-742A on the bench. Just repaired the backlights, replaced the backup battery and tested the power output. Back in business. Contrary to what others may say about this radio it is possible to install the band units in any order, have the same band for all 3, and no having the 2 meter module installed is not required. What is required is fully resetting the radio when changing the order or installing a new band unit. Also the power cable can be moved from a 2 meter band unit to any of the other units to power the radio.

Kenwood TM-742A on the bench. Would not power on. Repaired multiple damaged traces caused from leaking electrolytic capacitors, installed new tantalum capacitors in place of the leaky electrolytics, repaired multiple bad solder joints, replaced backlights with LED's, repaired front panel connector, repaired TSU-7 connectors, cleaned corrosion off band unit connectors and now finally back in working order.

Kenwood TM-621A on the bench getting LED backlights and a new memory battery.

Yaesu FT-891 on the bench. Would not power on. Repaired the display power circuit and now it works perfectly.

YAESU FT-991A on the bench. Would not power on due to power surge from nearby lightning strike. Replaced multiple diodes and transistors controlling the power relay. Back in business.

Yaesu FT-2000 on the bench. Repaired CAT control circuit on the CNTL unit. Now it works great.

Sherwood S-7100A on the bench. Needed all controls and switches cleaned. Sounds great now.

Marantz Model 2275 on the bench. Cleaned controls, repaired power cord and AM antenna mount. Working great now.

Icom IC-910H on the bench. Would not power on after ribbon cables came apart. Corrected power circuit issue on PA board. Back in business.

Pioneer SX-780 on the bench with no sound output. Repaired the amplifier and now it sounds great again.
