What is MTS?
The Master of Theological Studies at Holy Transfiguration College opens a path for those who desire to enter more deeply into the treasures of the faith with seriousness, humility, and wonder. St. Gregory the Theologian writes, “We ought to think of God even more often than we draw our breath.” The MTS program carries this vision into study. Theology reaches beyond the classroom and begins to shape how we see, pray, discern, worship, and live before God.
Through a structured course of study, students engage Scripture, doctrine, history, and spiritual tradition with academic depth and reverence. The program forms the mind to seek truth, while drawing the heart toward communion with Christ.

For those ready to ask deeper questions and grow in a richer understanding of the faith, the MTS program offers a meaningful place to begin.

At Agora University, online education is not treated as a convenience alone, but as a responsibility.

Our commitment to distance learning calls us to pursue excellence with intention, structure, and integrity. Attending the DEAC conference reflects our continued dedication to engaging academia with the highest standards in distance education and remaining connected to the conversations shaping the future of online learning.

For us, quality education means more than access. It means creating an academic environment where students are supported, challenged, and equipped to grow with confidence wherever they are. We believe education should serve whole persons, not only academic goals, but the responsibilities, aspirations, and challenges students carry alongside their studies.

As Agora University continues to expand its reach, we remain committed to strengthening the student experience through meaningful learning, institutional excellence, and a standard of education worthy of the future our students are building.

During the Apostles’ Fast, the Church remembers the spiritual preparation of the apostles before they went out to preach the Gospel to the world. Through fasting and prayer, they were strengthened to carry the message of Christ to all nations. This fast reminds the faithful that the mission of the Church is sustained by prayer, sacrifice, and faithful witness.

Today, we celebrate the Entry of our Lord Jesus Christ into Egypt, the fulfillment of the prophecy: “Out of Egypt I called My Son.” — Matthew 2:15

In humility and mystery, the King of all enters Egypt as a Child carried in the arms of His mother. The Holy Family journeys through fear, exile, and uncertainty, yet even in flight, Christ brings blessing. The One whom heaven cannot contain enters a foreign land and sanctifies it with His presence.

As we remember the Holy Family’s journey, we are reminded that God is present in every uncertain road, every hidden struggle, and every place where we seek refuge. The Lord who entered Egypt continues to enter the places of our fear, guiding, protecting, and transforming them by His grace.

May this feast renew our trust in the God who walks with His people and makes every place touched by His presence holy.

Blessed Feast of Pentecost 🕊️

Today, we celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit, the fulfillment of Christ’s promise, and the birth of the Church in power and grace. At Pentecost, the disciples who once hid in fear become witnesses filled with boldness. The Spirit does not simply comfort them from a distance; He enters their lives, illumines their hearts, opens their mouths, and sends them into the world to proclaim the risen Christ.

This feast reminds us that the Christian life cannot be lived by human strength alone. We need the Spirit to teach us how to pray, to purify our desires, to heal what is wounded, and to set our hearts on fire with the love of God.
Pentecost is not only an event remembered, but a life received. The same Spirit who descended upon the apostles continues to dwell in the Church, forming us into the Body of Christ and calling us to live with courage, unity, holiness, and love.

May the Holy Spirit renew our hearts, guide our steps, and make our lives a living witness to the risen Lord.
