Hello Community!!

One our co-leads and partner, Norma, has been a pillar in our community for decades. She has been serving families in the Alcove Apartments with her New Futures program and supporting hundreds of kids and families throughout the years, mentoring and helping dozens of other community workers, and partnering with other orgs like ours, and advocating for change in our neighborhoods.

She recently underwent brain surgery and was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. If you are able, please donate to help her rest and health journey or send any prayers and healing energy her way! It is so powerful to watch our community come out and support one of our own in the same way she pours out support for all of us.
