Today, Armenian prisoners of war and innocent civilian hostages have been under Azerbaijan’s unlawful detention for 1,000 days, with no promise of justice.

Azerbaijan has tried to hide their unlawful actions, but I refuse to ignore their crimes. For as long as it takes, I’ll keep fighting for these hostages to be released and for a path towards lasting security for Armenia.

Callers to Social Security wait for hours to get help. Hear their ordeals. 06/23/2026

The Trump Administration has gutted the Social Security Administration customer service lines. I’ve rallied against these actions since day one, and I’ll continue to demand they restore service so that our seniors get the answers they need.

If you’re a constituent and need assistance with Social Security, contact my office. Let my team help cut through the red tape for you.

Callers to Social Security wait for hours to get help. Hear their ordeals. Millions of seniors and disabled people call Social Security’s 1-800 number every month. What they experience is often maddening.

Wanna beat the heat? Perlas Ice Cream has you covered! This Asian-inspired, family-owned ice cream shop just opened in Montrose to bring great Filipino and Southeast Asian flavors to CA-30.

It was a joy to be at their ribbon-cutting this past weekend. I’m proud to represent so many wonderful small businesses in this district, and it’s my pleasure to champion their needs in Congress.

My inside scoop? Ube might be all the rage these days, but don’t miss out on their buko pandan and black sesame!

In housing-related news, I’m extremely proud to announce that I’ll be co-leading the House Democrats’ Housing Working Group!

I’ve focused on making housing more affordable during my entire public service career, and am excited to be helping develop our strategy to cut housing costs and put a roof over the head of every American.

Thank you to Leader Congressman Hakeem Jeffries and House DPCC for trusting me to help lead this effort.

Provision around taxing private jets sparks partisan brawl in Congress 06/21/2026

House Republicans are always looking for ways to make sure billionaires can avoid paying the taxes they owe – this time on their private jets.

But I noticed and am pushing back.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandpas, and father figures!

California contributes more to the federal government than it gets back. When it comes to getting the fire mitigation resources we need, this kind of partisan attack on California can have life or death consequences.

My colleagues and I are demanding that the Trump administration immediately release the millions they’ve withheld from California – an unconscionable action they’ve taken without any explanation. We’re not letting Trump play partisan games with American lives.

History teaches us that progress is never a given in this country. It has been demanded and fought for by people who refused to let racism and bigotry trample on their unalienable rights.

We're celebrating Juneteenth today, and tomorrow we'll get back to work creating a better, more equal country for every American.

On this day in 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to tell more than 250,000 enslaved Black people that they had been emancipated.

Juneteenth isn't just a day to honor their lives and the end of slavery. It's a reminder that a just and moral society strives to always advance civil rights, voting rights, and to tell the actual truth of our history.
