Congratulations to all of the performing arts students at Providence for an excellent finale and year of performance! This year’s showcase featured several original one-acts, dance ensembles, and solo numbers that not only displayed their talents onstage but their ability to guide and direct themselves and their peers to further elevate their performances.

Congratulations to all the young filmmakers who gave their all to another amazing Cinema Arts Showcase. This year had an exceptional batch of entries that could have easily been top contenders in film festivals nationwide. I hope that regardless of the outcome of the awards, you all are proud of your accomplishments and creations and carry that passion and dedication to the next project.

This year, Providence Singers had the honor and privilege to travel to New York and perform at the illustrious Carnegie Hall. I managed to catch their encore performance back home, where they performed their set for those who couldn’t make their way out to the East Coast. I had the honor of doing coverage for the tech symposium this year. It’s honestly crazy to see how far the program has come, as well as how diligent and dedicated these students are in their craft. It brings some peace in knowing that our future’s in good hands. ⁣​​​​​​​​​⁣​​​​​​​​​⁣
