Good Evening Rattlers! Welcome back to School!

Here is what is happening at Diamondback School during the week of July 29th, 2024:

School starts on Monday, July 29th! Students are allowed on campus at 8:05 am and school starts at 8:30 am. Our day ends at 3:50 pm.

Any students who are not registered will not be able to start on Monday. You will need to register them on Monday and they can start on Tuesday. Please contact the office for more information.

Please remember that buses and parent pick-up/drop-off run slowly the first week or so until everyone gets back into the routines. Please be patient with staff, including bus drivers!

The school provides free lunch for all students. Soda, energy drinks, etc. are discouraged in home lunches. Students are NOT permitted to share snacks or lunches with others. Students receiving and eating free lunch at school cannot supplement this meal with outside food items. Examples: Candy, chips, cookies, and fast food items such as McDonalds.

Toys are not allowed at school, and all cell phones will be locked up during the day.

Please follow the district dress code.

Shorts must have at least a five-inch inseam and skirts and dresses must be longer than an individual's fingertips with hands held at the side.

For safety reasons, students must wear closed-toe shoes with backs. Students must wear appropriate shoes for physical education, such as tennis shoes.

Hair with unnatural colors or Mohawks are not permitted as well as fake fingernails and makeup.

Good Evening Rattlers! It’s almost that time again!

Here is what is happening at Diamondback School during the week of July 22nd, 2024:

The office will be closed for district-wide training on July 24th, 2024. It will reopen on July 25th at 8:00 am.

Back to School Night! is July 25th, 2024 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm. If you are registered you can visit your new classroom and teacher!

There are still over 100 students that still need to be re-registered for the new school year. If your child is not registered before Back to School night, no teacher/class will be assigned, and you will have to return to the office on Friday, July 26th to complete it. We will NOT be doing any registrations during Back to School night! I cannot emphasize enough the importance of completing registrations. Please let the office know if you have any questions.

Here is what is happening at Diamondback School during the week of 13th, 2024:

Join us for the last PTO Meeting on May 14th at 4:30 pm in the library.

Field Days are this week:

Monday 5/13 - PreK, Kinder, and 1st

Wednesday 5/15 - 2nd & 3rd

Thursday 5/16 - 4th

All library books are now due. Please check backpacks, home shelves, and nooks and crannies to help return our books as soon as possible!

There is no school on Friday, May 17th.

The 1st End of Year Picnic is coming soon! Join your child(ren) for lunch on the last day of school, May 23rd. Lunch tickets are $5.00 per person with the deadline extended until May 16th!

Here is what is happening at Diamondback School during the week of 6th, 2024:

The 4th Galileo Benchmark Test is this week for all grade levels. Please be at school and on time every day!

Dress-up days for Teacher Appreciation Week are as follows:

Monday: Dress as your favorite special’s teacher

Tuesday: Dress as farmers or flowers

Wednesday: Dress as magicians

Thursday: Dress as the career you want to be

Diamondback Spring Carnival is on Thursday, May 9th! Join us in the cafeteria for snacks, fun, and games from 5:30-7:00 pm.

3rd Grade will be traveling to the Colorado History Museum on Thursday, May 9th. Buses leave at 9:00 am so don’t be late!

The 1st End of Year Picnic is coming soon! Join your child(ren) for lunch on the last day of school, May 23rd. Lunch tickets are $5.00 per person with more information coming home tomorrow!

There is no school on Friday, May 10th.
