To all those interested in photography and who want to get better at photography, I always suggest taking practice shots with your camera that you aren't used to. In a way, you're keeping your saw blades sharp for when you really need to shoot something.

I run a photo challenge group where I post weekly/bi-weekly photo challenges. They range from shooting general themes to having to meet certain criteria. Users must post their images onto the group's Facebook wall before the deadline or they are kicked out!

Today I completed work on my photo portfolio / photo album from my recent first trip to The Big Apple. It was amazing. New York is an outstanding and immense city, and it was well worth the visit. These images catalog my misadventures, soaking in the awesomeness of every inch of my surroundings.
